CIC2*: Michael Jung in the lead after the dressage
On this second day of Concours Complet International*** d’Arville, the dressage classes are slowly coming to an end. German rider Michael Jung is the new leader of the CIC2* after the dressage, obtaining a good score of 73,02% (27 penalties) with his Contendro I son Choclat and beating yesterday’s leader Jonelle Price.
Jonelle and Cooley Showtime (NZL) had obtained a 72,92% good score (27,10 penalties) yesterday and are currently in the second place of the provisional ranking.
Closing the provisional top three is yet another German combination: Stephanie Böhe and Classic Royetta rode a 71,46% (28,50 penalties) dressage test today.
The best Belgian combination is still Karin Donckers, who ended on 31,50 penalties with Leipheimer van ‘t Verahof after yesterday’s test. Karin is currently in the seventh position.
On the program for tomorrow: the CIC3* ERM dressage test starting at 9 am, followed by the CIC1* and Pony cross country at 11.30 am and ending with the CIC2* jumping at 4.30 pm.
