After some bad luck in her CCI4*-ERM cross country, Gemma Tattersall set things right in the CCI4* competition today in Arville.
None of the riders managed to clear the cross country track without any penalties, leaving this wide open for the final classification. It was Gemma Tattersall who took this to her advantage with Santiago Bay (Ars Vivendi) picking up only 2,4 time penalties and thus a total score of 33,10, thus taking a comfortable lead. For Laura Collett and Billy Bounce (Cevin Z) there were 8 time penalties, making the pair drop to a second place with a total score of 37,90. Also third place went to England with Nicholas Lucey and Proud Courage (Courage II) picking up only 2 time penalties and finishing on a total score of 39,40.
Tom Jackson and Pencos Crown Jewel (Jumbo) ended on a 4th place with 7,6 time penalties and a total score of 42,70. Lara De Liedekerke-Meier and Alpaga d’Arville (Wunder Boy van de Zuuthoeve) noted the best Belgian result with a fifth place. They finished with a total score of 45,10 after picking up 8 time penalties.
