Germany rules
233 horses from 9 different nations took part this weekend in the “Arville Classic Edition” competition.
The CCI1 * -Intro, which was organized for the first time in Belgium since the creation of this category, managed to draw 105 “rider-horse” combinations. It was the young Belgian rider Jarno VERWIMP and his horse Hilton who won the event ahead of the German riders Marie-Sophie ARNOLD and Julia KRAJEWSKI.
The German Ann-Catrin BIERLEIN took the lead in the CCI2-S event, which had 89 participants, while the Belgians Tine MAGNUS and Lara DE LIEDEKERKE-MEIER took second and third place respectively.
The biggest series of the competition, the CCI2 * -L which hosted 39 horses, was masterfully dominated by the German riders! Christina SCHÖNIGER went onto the highest march of the podium which was completed by her compatriots Gesa STAAS and Eva TERPELUK.
